Handbuilding course Feb 22nd -Mar 22nd / 5 weeks 10am-12pm $125 Explore the possibilities of handbuilding with clay. This 5 week course covers pinch, coil, sculpture and slab techniques. Learning fundamental strategies for forming clay. Surface design opportunities will allow you to explore craving, altering, under glaze, and texture. Offering participants guided instruction and demos in a small group setting. Projects can be adapted to age and skill level (ages 12 and up). 4 sessions will be designated to clay work. With a final session focusing on glazing. Techniques and projects will be presented; Pinch and coil Sculpting/ form and design Slabs and slumping Surface design Under glazing Glazing
Cancellation Policy
If a class cancellation arises the class will be added to the end of the course/ extend the course past end date. If you have an unplanned absence. You have the option to join a different class time during the week for a make up. Class fee is non-refundable 2 weeks before start date. And needs to be paid before the start date.
