Service Description
Welcoming ages 5 and up. Techniques and projects can be adapted to age and skill levels. No experience needed. Just a willingness to try! Projects change seasonally; 11/29 Holiday ornaments and menorahs @ 2pm or 4pm Instruction and guidance will be offered. But the freedom to design and create is all yours! 1 Reservation spot can cover up to 4 people (1 whole table). Family and friends are welcome to join. Reserve your space online. The workshop is 1 hour long. Clay, table space, and instruction included. There is plenty of time to explore and create. Keeping your work is optional. You are welcome to choose at the end. The firing fee is accumulated after the workshop. 6x6x8in space board is $15 (all that can fit). $10 per additional board. The studio can accept card, cash, check, or Venmo. Make a glaze appointment to finish your work, or arrange for a studio glaze. For groups with young children please be advised that first house pottery is a clay studio. Children need to follow basic guidelines in the studio (no touching other work, some tools off limits, there are shelves and equipment that need to be respected).












Cancellation Policy
Workshop fee is non refundable. Glazing fee is refundable if your pottery doesn't survive the firing. 3 month policy for glazing personally . If an appointment is not made, the studio will glaze your pottery and notify you for pick up. Pottery Pick up; If your pottery sits for over 6 months, it will be donated to create shelf room (No guarantees on pottery after 6months). Helpful studio tips; -Clay will wash out of clothes. Come prepared to get a little messy. -Long nails can be difficult. Trimming your nails before arriving may be helpful. -Rings can interfere with the throwing process. If possible, you probably want to leave your rings at home.
