Private Group Gathering

Service Description

Private group gatherings First house pottery offers the studio for private groups young and old. Having the studio to yourself allows you to invite the people you'd like to join. All needed supplies and tools are provided. With instructions and demos. Adult events can BYOB.  Private group gathering options; 1) Feel of the wheel, located at the studio. Family Feel of the wheel, located at the studio. Handbuilding options can be offered at the same time. $150 wheel workshop fee covers everyone, instruction, and clay. Separate firing fee $12.50 per piece for the pottery you'd like to keep. $15/25 per handbuilding board.  2) Handbuilding/Intro to hand building, slabs and coil workshops, located at the studio. $100 studio fee covers everyone, instruction, and clay. Separate firing fee for the pieces you'd like to keep. $15 for each 6x6 board, $25 for each 6x12 board (anything that can fit on the board and you  can use as many boards as needed). 3) PYO pottery gatherings, located at the studio or can easily travel to an off-site location. I have a tent, tables and chairs for outside venues. Charged per piece and with a $50 studio fee covers studio space and materials. Or traveling fee and me hosting the event off-site.  If you'd like to arrange a home painting session without me (just materials). There is no studio fee, you pick up the needed supplies and pottery and return to me after for the kiln firing process. When scheduling for a private group gathering you can leave a description of what you are planning for. And I will be in touch to finalize the details! 2 weeks notice is needed for most gatherings.  A $50 non-refundable deposit is needed for private group gathering. And a 2 week notice is needed for rescheduling.

Cancellation Policy

Non refundable date reservation fee of $75. I am willing to reschedule a gathering if given at least 2 weeks notice. Responsible BYOB is welcome for Adult gatherings.
